Legal Term: BREVIBUS ET ROTULIS LIBERANDIS
Definition: Eng. law. A writ or mandate directed to a sheriff, commanding him to deliver to his successor the county and the appurtenances, with all the briefs, rolls, remembrances, and all other things belonging to his office.
