QUIETUS

Legal Term: QUIETUS
Definition: Eng. law. A discharge, an acquittance. 2. It is an instrument by the clerk of the pipe, and auditors in the exchequer, as proof of their acquittance or discharge to accountants. Cow. Int. h. t.
