Legal Term: INTTERDICTED OF FIRE AND WATER
Definition: Formerly those persons who were banished for some crime, were interdicted of fire and water; that is, by the judgment order was given that no man should receive them into his house, but should deny them fire and water, the two necessary elements of life.
