Can an employer monitor your emails at work if you are using a personal email account? Assume i am using my work owned computer to send the personal emails. If the answer is yes, then can the employer still monitor my emails if i use my own computer but use the employer's wifi?

I post it here as i think there are some privacy issues.

If you are using an employer owned computer and accessing the employer's wifi or internet, then they can monitor your web access and the sites you visit.

If you are using a private computer, they can still monitor your web usage if you are using their internet wifi.

Usually companies will "disclose" the fact that they are tracking your every movement on the web. In fact, most companies will have their employees sign a statement that they acknowledge and authorize that the employer to track their web usage.

I think the only invasion to a right of privacy would accure if they tracked your passwords to personal websites and accessed the websites using your passwords.
