Client has a mortgage on a shopping center. The shopping center is about 50% occupied and the landlord (client) wants to give the shopping center back to the bank. The worry is that the bank will take the property and come after the landlord's other property for any deficiency. The bank is Sun Trust. Anyone have any experience modifying loans with Sun Trust bank?
