1) As a 25+ year old, is there any reason to submit my parents financial info? Been independent and working for many years now, filing my own taxes, etc. Is there anything to be gained by haggling with the 'rents to get their tax forms?
2) Will it increase my EFC to a normal number?
3) Does EFC really matter since the loans all have to be paid back, and we're not getting free money from the gov't anymore?

You will only have to submit your parent's info if your parents claim you as a dependent. EFC does matter. FAFSA just wants to know who is supporting you and your sources of income.
