I supplier sent a purchase order to one of my employees which signed for the order, and the order was delivered to my place of business. I really dont need the shipment and i would like to return it. The supplier will not take a return after the shipment is accepted. I would like claim that the employee that signed and accepted the deliver was not authorized to accept the delivery. But could they say in return to force the shipment on me?

It depends on whether the employee had the actual or apparent authority to bind your company. Was the employee authorized? Any agreements in writing?

How large was the order or the cost?

If its a small value order, then absorb the costs and move on.
