warrant and extradition 2 Years ago  
i have a misdemeanor warrant has been issued in Illinois for telephone harassment. I have a bond for $2000. When the judge issued the warrant he also issued another bond for $2000. I live in an west coast state. Is there an extradition limitation on this, if so how do I find out? What happens if I get a ticket, would officer bother to take me in? If so, does IL have to come get me and would they bother to do that?

Are you in violation of the bond? Sounds like it. If so, then it really comes down to whether IL reported your violation. They usually do. So, if you are in violation of your bond, you either come clean and clear it up or you hide from the law and wait for them to catch you.
