personal statement ideas - good or bad? 2 Years, 6 Months ago  
I was considering writing my personal statement about my experience as an immigrant (Canada -> US). I can think of very few things that have impacted me as much as this has, but I imagine it's been done. Any thoughts? Worth a first draft?

I think a personal statement should talk about how you overcame a difficulty, or helped society or use a story of experience to show how you handle a problem. Maybe the migration story can show the difficulty you experienced as an immigrant and how you will use your law eduction to work both sides of the border.
