On a regular business resume you would typically put on "Objective" section at the top of the resume, explaining why you are submitting a resume.
Should you put one on a law school resume? Like, "Objective: to gain admission to law school" ?

When I applied to law school i put an "objective" at the top of the resume so the app department knew that I tailored my resume for the law school application. I also recommend that you start with your strongest attributes. So, if you have more education than work experience, I would list the education first then work; and vis versa.
Where you applyin?
