appeal of divorce decree - equitable adjustment 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
I need an appelate attorney to take a multi million dollar divorce to appeal. One spouse received an inheritance during the marriage and commingled the monies with the marital estate that the other spouse recieved an inheritance and did not commingle it with the marital estate.

One argument is that under the principles of equitable relief, there should be an adjustment to the divorce decree. Anyone have any experience with such a case? Any ideas?

I actually read about an equitable adjustment to a divorce in Ohio. The court said that based on the facts and circumstances, the court changed the settlement for public policy reasons. If I can find the article and the case I will forward in this thread. Did the divorce occur in a state that has equitable relief?

Some of these decisions also depend on how long the marriage was, and if there are any kids in the marriage
