Hey everyone!

I need to get another laptop as the one i have keep freezing up and is large & heavy. I plan on buying a new laptop prior to the start of the fall semester

I have always been a Windows user but I think it might be time for a change. I have already checked and the school I will be attending supports SecureExam for Macs. However, the state where I plan on taking the bar does not support Macs, but I mean that is still 2+ years away... I use the laptop like everyone else for papers, notes, internet, AIM, downloading.

The two laptops I am torn between are:

1. MacBook 13in screen, 2.4 ghz, 2gb memory, and 160 gb harddrive.

-Limited exposure to OS X but I like what I've seen
-Like that I can drop it off at any Apple store for repairs if need be
-Student Discounts on laptop and software

2. Lenovo Thinkpad T61 14.1in screen, 2.4 ghz, 2gb memory, and 160 gb harddrive

-I know it's a trusted laptop
-But, haven't heard good things about tech support
-Windows Vista...I'm wary of it

The cost is pretty similar.

Let me know what you guys think...will I have a easy switch over to OS X? Stick with PC and just deal with cons of Vista? Thanks in advance.

Laurie
