I want to take the bar exam in my home state of Ill. I also want to be licensed in another state. Not sure which other state is important to be licensed in and wanted some recommendations.

If you go to the US patent web site it will give you an option to search patents by state, The most patents are filed in Cali, OH, & MI. I believe its because of the manufactoring.

That is probably a good indication of where the work is at. But, if you do patent work, you can do it anywhere, as patent law is not state based.

What do you think?
