I want to know if there is any value in paying to look at jobs on job sites. Some websites like attorneyjobs.com and the ladders.com charge $30-$60 month just to have access to their jobs. I want to know if anyone has subscribed to them and if there is any difference between then and using monster or careerbuilder. thx

I subscribed to the Ladders for one month and didnt see the value so i canceled the membership. I think that the Ladders is a good site for people in banking or maybe finance, but for attorney jobs, just go to the law firm sites, indeed, career builder or monster. In fact, most head hunters and placement firms offer free access to their jobs. Why would they charge users a fee to look at jobs when they make money by actually placing people in the jobs?
