Does anyone know how many people are on the wait list? Also, how they choose from the wait list?

I'm sure it varies by school. Its likely less than 2 dozen and usually only one or two of the 2 dozen actually have a chance of getting an admit in the current yr.

Did you get wait-listed? If so, where?

Wait list is usually no more than 5-10 at most schools. Wait list is great if you dont care when you get an admit and are willing to delay starting for a yr as most wait list applicants can get in the following yr.

I friend just started Ubiv of Miami after a 1 yr wait list. He didnt know his ranking during the wait period, but i called the univ multiple times and they said that none of the persons on the waitlist received admit letters. So, there is no guaranty that if you are on a short list that you will get in at all. I would just move on. If you later get an admit to a second choice law school then you can always revoke your acceptance to the second choice school.

i agree with PennSt. Wait list is like waiting for a rose from the Bachelor. It like waiting to climax and not ejaculating.
