I am a high school student and would like to go to lawschool. My writing skills are not so good but I really enjoy the law and constitution. How important is your ability to write papers and essays with the actual practice of law? It looks like to me, that most legal writing is based on citations and law, not writing style.
If i need to improve my writing style, what classes should I take for next semester?

Law school writing is completely arbitrary. You will find that writing professors want to knock your writing style just to build it their way. And then you'll get your first legal job, and the partners will end up doing the same exact thing. Most of the time they're attacking your style, because it's not like their own, as opposed to attacking the substance.
That being said, it's important to know how to write when practicing law. But there's also a simple method to legal writing. You will learn the IRAC method in law school: Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion. I don't know that's it's necessary to major in English, but since you're in high school and you have some time, it wouldn't hurt to take a couple writing classes in general.

I agree with the previous comment. The same thing will happen in your first legal job at a law firm. Everyone has their own writing style, you just need to make sure you know how to research well and write accordingly.
