NU interview - now or later? 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello TLS community:

I am taking the December LSAT and am planning to apply the instant my score arrives. I plan to only apply to a couple of schools, one which is Northwestern.

I realize that NU offers applicants the opportunity to interview on campus and I fully intend to do so. However, I realize my application will not go "complete" until the interview has been conducted.

Is it better to interview first, before I receive my LSAT score, or to wait until January/February?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would interview right after you take the LSAT. That way, when you go in for the interview they will get your result in a few weeks and you will be fresh in their mind. I dont think going in too early will help much. They see too many people and need to relate a face to a profile.

what happens if you lsat score is not what you hoped it would be? is it still advisable to wait, or maybe try to get in their early and try to make a good impression ahead of time, you know, kindof sell yourself and give a strong interview and then follow up? just trying to think or all the angles.
