is there a way to find out if a complaint has been filed against a patent. I looked on the US patent website and could not find anything. I'd like to track a competitor's patent and the complaints against it before I file my own.

i didnt look at your profile to see if you are an attorney or student, but the uspto does not list or publish litigation on IP. If you have access to Patent Track, Lexis, or Westlaw you can search using a key word. This may help you find what you are looking for. Yeah, the uspto will only filings, images, and details on submitted items
