Blackmail in divorce 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago	Karma: 1
friend of mine (wife) has filed for divorce and husband is playing hardball. Wife wants to blackmail husband by threatening to call the IRS and tell them that husband didn't claim some money on his tax return. I told wife, that she could get in trouble to. Recommendations?

If she knew about the husband's activities and she also benefited from them, she is an accomplice in the fraud and can get in just about the same trouble as he can. Not a wise choice.
