I see all those websites out there that sell wills and trust. Are such sites required to be run by attorneys or law firms? If not are they violating the law by providing legal advice and not being licensed?

Just courious. There seems to be a lot of legal exposure to them but they are still in business.

And they disclaim all liability and recommend that users obtain independent legal counsel. Its a scam to me.

Their biggest protection are all the disclaimers on the side of the box. Worst part is that the majoriy of the canned legal documents are very insufficient for the needs of most people, especially some of the wills, trusts, purchase agreements, land contract, leases. the major ones people use.
