I realize my reply is late, but if you signed up for email notices from this site, you will get this message.

Under CA law, a part-time employee will be entitled to take Pregnancy Disability Leave 4 weeks prior to birth and 6 weeks after (8 for c-section) regardless of the amount of time you have worked for your employer. Check out this site for more details:
