In many states a child can become emancipated as an adult. If a child desires to emancipate is there a way to block the child's emancipation?

I have a client, a mother, who's child wants to emancipate. She believes that the motivation is from the child's father, so that the father will not have to pay child support. If you can show that the child is not capable of making decision, failing school, or has medical or physical conditions, then you may be able to prevent or stop the child.

The link below is a matrix comparison of the laws all 50 states and how they handle emancipation of minors. If you read the relevant state statutes, you maybe able to find a way to block and prevent the minor from emancipating.
