going to the prosecutors office 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I'm trying to decide what i want to do with a law degree. I think i'd like to be infront of a jury and litigate cases. From what I understand, prosecutors get a lot of trial experience.

The problem is that prosecutors typically make less money than defense attorneys. But the experience they get is priceless. So, would it be better to go work at the prosecutors office right out of law school than to work for a private law firm?

Or can you learn the same info at a law firm?

All I really care about is the experience and the moola!!!

Thanks

If you really want good strong experience, go to the prosecuters office. Law firms won't trust you with much your first couple of years, so you will likely get very little experience. The prosecuters office pays less, but in the start you can afford to take less and make more down the road. that my advice.
