I can speak from experience, that a CPA license combo'd with a law license can be a very powerful combination (assuming you have requisite CPA experience to back the law license).
In most states, in order to get a CPA license, you have to have CPA experience. What state and what area of accounting/tax/audit do you have experience or interest in?

audit experience is great for a CPA firm. If you want to work at a law firm I would get some tax experience in M&A, tax controversy, estate and gift, or state and local tax. These areas of law are profit centers for law firms. What would you like to do?

Can you sit for the CPA exam if you have a business degree? Is it important for tax law?
