Anyone ever file a chapter 13 bankruptcy to stop the bank from foreclosing on your home, and then petition from remove of the chp 13 once you get your affairs in order?

Filing Chp 13 will put creditors at bay and even halt a foreclosure. However, if you dont follow thru with it and the application was a sham, then sanctions and criminal prosecution can follow. Be careful.
