My friends brother is considering law school and of course is excited. He asked me about that newish power score study program. I don't know anyting about it, does anyone know if its as good as the advertising seems to be. Is Kaplan better, I have never heard of power score but people seem to really like it. any help, thanks.

Kaplan is good, but the powerscore bibles will improve your score. Kaplan has a lot of analysis without the strategy.

What your friend needs to determine is how much in class prep he needs.

Among my friends and from reading this forum, the Powerscore bibles, Kaplan 180 book, Examkrackers rc and a bunch of old tests, and are all great to help prep for the LSAT.

Everyone at my law school is telling me to take a prep class. Now I'm starting to change my mind. I've read about the pros and cons of the classes and I guess I'm still not 100% sure. Should I really take the class? Kids in my classes are saying to take Testmasters, they all didn't do very well, but will that only confuse me if I did use the Powerscore bibles? I have from the middle of May until the Oct LSAT.

Any ideas?

I think your score is always going to be a function of the amount of time you spend studying. But, the question is who has the best tools to make the most of your time. I wonder if power score has it, or is Kaplan still the best on teh block?
