I know its three years down the road; but i want to go shopping now.
What's the standard dress code at a law office? Mostly dark and conservative - grays and charcoals, pinstripes if you're feeling frisky? Do people wear light suits - tan, for example? Olive?
And how much do you have to spend to get a suit you feel comfortable wearing to work? And how many of them are going to be hanging in your closets?

I hope its not too conservative, I mean I like wearing some color, everything can't just be gray or blue.

Its not like that, I clerked at a firm, and it just depends on teh people. Of course you have to dress professional, but it does not always have to be boring. Different colors are fine, but you don't want to stick out like a weed, I'm sure if you give it some thought, whatever you choose would be fine. Just remember you are going to work, not trying out for a dance show.
