How often is the format of the LSAT made? Are there any notable changes for 2011/2011 to the question format or topics covered?

last major change was in 07. Otherwise the only changes certain test center location and the testing schedule.

periodically the test creators will change the format of the exam if they believe that test takers or test prep companies have "mastered" a strategy on how to ace the exam. I have not heard or seen any results which would show that the LSAT is in jeopardy of being compromised or manipulated by test takers. Since the last majr change with only 4-5 years ago, the current format of the LSAT is probably safe for a while.
