I graduated last year with a BS in Justice Administration degree. I was of the mindset of 'just get a degree, it doesn't matter what in." There isn't any excuse for a 2.2 GPA, but that's what I have. There was one semester early on where I got straight D's. I wasn't a party-er , I just wasn't interested and was more interested in working full time and looking at short term goals.
This year I became a paramedic and graduated a community college with a 3.5 GPA in health sciences. I do enjoy the work, but I certainly won't be getting rich and am already physically feeling the strain.
Last year I went into a Kaplan testing center completely blind to ask what the LSAT consisted of, and ended up taking an old LSAT, scoring a 150. I am hoping to bust my butt and score a 153-5 with a significant amount of commitment.
With a history of mine, do I have a fighting chance? I wouldn't mind traveling, but I would like to stay in the Eastern half of the country. I wouldn't even mind going through a part time program.
I've really handicapped myself with my bachelor's GPA, but with a work history and interest in traveling to a college that will let me in, what do you think my odds may be? Is the fact that I got an associates with a good GPA and work history going to be any factor?

Your numbers are not great. Honestly, your best chance is to apply for Thomas Cooley Law school in Mich. I think they rank 180 out of 180, but they have a history of admitting just about anyone that has a pulse. Most Cooley students drop out or graduate without a job. Not sure its worth it....

Also try unaccredited law schools. Or donate $100k to a law school and you might have a better shot. Not trying to be negative, but your GPA is low.
