I'd get your law school app in the first week of Jan 08 so that when the admissions department gets together your app will be waiting for them.

I would re-structure your personal statement so that it is not a re-writing of your resume. Tell them a story about you which will describe your great characteristics and your likeliness to success in the practice of law.
