OK, i need help with this question. I know it looks simple, but its driving me crazy.
I was able to anwer two of the questions, but I am wondering if I am having a hard time understanding the rules.
Rule 1:
T is performed either immediately before F or immediately after R.
That to me means: TF or RT
Rule 2:
At least two compositions are performed either after F and before R, or after R and before F
I read this to mean:
F_ _ and _ _ R or R_ _ and _ _ F
I don't see a relation with F or R in terms of one coming before the other. In other words, it seems to me that they can be placed anywhere in the diagram even if they are next to each other. So, based on the rule we can have RF right next to each other and still be correct. Is this correct?
Rule 6:
I read this rule to mean:
O _ and _ S or S _ and _ O
Once again, the same rationale that I used for the other rule goes for this one. They have no relationship together other than what is stated, i.e., they can go right next to each other and still be within the rule.
# 12
So far I have deduced that B and C are not the answer. However, I cannot get rid of the rest.
A, D, and E seem to conform to the rules that are given. Anyone?

Means F/R (2 or more in between) R/F.
Same goes with Rule 6... except it's O/S (one or more in between) S/O.
it's EITHER F (2 or more in between) R ... OR R (2 or more in between) F.
