Is applying in Sept too early? 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
LS applications start to become available I think in the beginning of September. My question is when is the earliest I should start to apply. Is it October or November, or later? Is there a progressive benefit of applying early, like it is best to apply at some point but the benefit slowly decrease?

Also just how important is the time at which you apply? Are there significant differences in your chances depending on when you apply?

Lastly, is the importance of applying early different for different schools?

I'd say the answer depends on your GPA and LSAT. If you are marginal then apply as early as possible.

What schools? What scores?

Share some details

I'm taking the fall LSAT and my goal is Columbia or NYU. I want to stay local and believe that licensure in NYU is a huge asset.
