I took a couple of business courses in undergrad and they had us put together some sample resumes, I just ended up using one of those. I picked out the one I thought looked the most organized, worked for me

I used one of the forms from a resume book, kept it short and simple and it seemed to work for me. But I know a few people that used a resume service as well and they thought it was useful, but I think they had a lot more they wanted to put on their resume, I did not have a whole lot. I guess it depends on how much you are trying to present.

I found what I think are some pretty good samples in the reference section at barnes and noble. I have been going through various books in the study aides section and other reference section. I have been considering finding a company to review my resume also, but I am not sure how important it is to go that far?

You can hire someone to review your resume, but based on my experience you just need to properly categorize the resume between education, employment experiences, and soft factors.
If you have more work experience that education, then list your work experience first. Otherwise list your education first.
I would send your resume to the recommenders so that they are on the same page as you when responding to the law school.
Not sure what it costs to get your resume reviewed.
I decided to create a linkedin page. I will be including my public www.linkedin.com page on my resume. I have a lot of professional contacts on there. So, if the law schools reviews my profile they will see that I have a lot of professional friends.

Hey guys,
So I've been trying to update my résumé such that it will be appropriate for my recommenders and submission to law schools, but have decided that I'll probably have much more luck just starting from scratch.
On that note, does anyone know where one might look to find a résumé template that would be appropriate for law schools? Additionally, should I be submitting the same résumé to my recommenders as I will to law schools?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
