steve Its a "business decision" for you. I studied at McGill Univ before graduating law school. While there, I learned a lot, made some great friends/contacts and had a great time. As the practice of law, and businesses in general become ever more global in nature, having international education & experiences will prove to be a valuable asset.

Either way you cant lose!
norton Studying abroad at Cambridge may sound like fun and it probably is, but if you are worried about getting a job I would clerk at the law firm. Study abroad programs in my experience do not add a whole lot to a resume other than a bit of conversation at an interview. If you are not worried about getting a job because your grades are high, or for some other reason, have some fun and study abroad, otherwise take the clerkship. Those are my thoughts, others may differ.
LK311 I have an opportunity to study abroad at Cambridge Univ (international studies) and I may also have an opportunity to clerk at a mid sized law firm. Not sure which will provide me with a better experience. Studying abroad is a one in a lifetime opportunity for me but getting an internship may help land a future job. Has anyone studyied at Cambridge?
