bigdaddy My CPA just keeps yelling at me to get it done. I think his alternative life style is catching up with him.
steve The penalty is 5% per month up to 25% per month. See attached IRS instructions to form 1120s. Also see www.irs.gov for more details. Or consult with your CPA.
bigdaddy I would like to know the answer to the 1099 question as well. But, what is the penalty to filing an S corp's taxes late anyway. And what is the absolute drop dead date to file and pay by? Does the paying ever stop.
