Aces wild I know that Florida does not have reciprocity. If you are licensed in another state, then you must take the Florida Bar exam to practice in FL.

I think they wanted to limit the # of attorneys in FL. Maybe there were too many people preying on the elderly!

norton No. Once you apply you are in, it generally is a one time fee for processing, and some courts do not charge. But, most court require a sponsor attorney, the DC circuit requires two.
cam.it To obtain admission to a federal court, go to their website and download the application for admission, then attach a letter of good standing from your state bar and pay the application fee.

I dont think any federal courts require annual renews. At least, i've never been asked to renew annually.
Lex Once you apply for admission to a federal court, say the court of appeals, is there an annual renewal or requirement to show that you are in good standing every yr?
