Jackie I agree, take the kaplan course. The LSAT is made up of trick questions and kaplan-like courses just teach you how to narrow your options down to the right answer.
Jim C. On both counts, yes. Some schools may average your scores, others will take the highest. Just depends on which school your talking about. And, yes, Kaplan is worth it. There really is no other way to prepare - you need to know the inside scoop. The process is difficult, so you want to do all that you can.
Jacob I took the LSAT twice. I believe that LSDA averages your scores so that the law schools only see the averaged score rather than the individual scores. I could be wrong, but this is what i was told from the a few law school admission counselors. Good Luck.
Anderson Hey Mark,

Thanks for the post, but I'm not ready for the bar yet -- i'm just trying to get through the lsat!

Mark I recommend that you take a bar review course if you have not already. Take Barbri for the essay portion and Kaplan/PBMR for the multiple choice portion. It maybe expensive, but without some assistance, you risk making the same mistakes over again and failing....again. Check out amazon.com or ebay for some used bar exam books. Good luck. Mark
Anderson Hi all -

i flubbed my first sitting of the LSAT. Now I gotta do better. I have a couple of Qs:

1. will the admissions folks see both scores or just the one i choose?

2. is a kaplan course REALLY worth it? It's buckets o'money, but i can't get the same score again

Anderson
