According to LSAC statistics, minorities are underrepresented in law school and the legal community, with “[n]o single minority group accounts for more than four percent of the lawyers in the United States.”

The Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) assembles data from law school candidates looking to apply to law school.  The LSDAS consolidates information from many sources and includes school transcripts and LSAT scores.  It serves as a clearinghouse for the information of law school candidates. 

When you apply to law school you need to submit your college transcripts, an admissions application accompanied with your personal statement, resume, and your LSAT score.  Laws schools interview prospective students through a student’s personal statement.  This is your opportunity to showcase your special attributes, which are not represented in your GPA or LSAT score.  Therefore, it’s important that you make a great impression with the admissions faculty through your personal statement.
